Vision for Journal of Emergency Management

 

Journal of Emergency Management is the most authentic Iranian bi-seasonal journal in the crisis and emergency management science among other journals with this era. The main vision of our journal is to develop and publish scientific papers which contribute in the area of emergency management, Civil defense and Passive defense. In addition, this journal aims to provide a localized and innovative base with Islamic and Iranian patterns of improvement in the field of emergency management and civil defense. To achieve these objectives, the prime requirement will be that each article:

 

  • makes a significant original contribution to the field;
  • is within the scope of the journal coverage;
  • contains elements which have general application;
  • is an original study which has generally not been published previously.

 

Journal’s Attributes

 

Journal of Emergency Management sets out to advance knowledge in the broad field of disaster risk reduction and management. Disasters refer to events associated to all forms of hazards, including natural disaster, manmade and technological disasters. The Effects of poverty and other social and economic threats can be investigated in this journal.

 

Journal of Emergency Management only considers high-quality articles which are peer-reviewed by three external experts, the editors and editorial board before acceptance for publication. Journal of Emergency Management aims at providing a platform for bridging the gap between a large array of academic disciplines, practitioners, and policy makers. All papers should emphasize on the main contribution of the research and avoid from general explanation in the manuscript.
