Urban Pathology Of Spatial Resilience With Emphasis On The Distribution Of Hospitals (Case Study: Shiraz Downtown)

Abstract
Optimal condition of accessibility and rapid, easy, and safe travel to health_ treatment land uses can be performed by the systematic analysis of land use and transportation sub-systems. Developed countries are in Essential need of proper transportation system for quick accessibility of patients to decrease mortality in disaster time. By the use of urban politics, strategies, and provisions, it is possible to transform cities to resilient environment in the disastrous situation. This paper aims to pathology analysis of hospital land uses in district 1 of Shiraz city and its effect on accessibility disturbance to these land uses. This study benefits the analytic and quantitative research methods in study the objective of the current research. Urban plans, and filed observation and geographical information system is used in collecting the data. By the use of Average nearest neighbor index, kernel density estimation model, Euclidean distance, and the width of the road to hospitals, the road network and spatial location of such land uses was evaluated. Concerning the number of personnel and hospital beds, findings show the unbalanced and clustered spatial distribution increase vulnerability, and on the other side, low-width roads and inappropriate distance to junctions, threat the resilience of the district. Planning new hospitals, should concern dispersed distribution pattern and to increase the resilience of the environment Network structure of passages must be included in according to health index of hospitals.
