Passive Defense Education Curriculum

Abstract
Passive defense educational development is growing in the world. Each country implemented it according to their educational needs and social context, in a special framework. The main purpose of this study was a comparative study between Iran, USA, UK, Russia and Australia passive defense education curriculum. This research is developed based on the sequential exploratory mixed method that has been implemented in two phases: qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative part established based thecase study and in the quantitative part used confirmatory factor analysis and descriptive methods. At first passive defense education curriculum was developed based on Klein's curriculum elements and validated. Then according to the available information, the elements of the educational curriculum were compared. The results showed that the curriculum includes crisis prevention, introduction to disaster aid in training resources, book and videos on learning activities, practices in teaching methods, method of a master apprentice in group learners, physical ability in evaluation method, and practical evaluation in a predetermined time with the highest frequency rates.
